Monster Hunter World: Iceborne adds black dragon ‘Altreon’ soon

Today, Capcom revealed that the infamous black dragon, Altreon, is coming to Monster Hunter World: Iceborne in May. Many months ago, the team teased the return of a fan-favorite beast, but it was unclear which one it was.

There was speculation about a variety of different ones, but I don’t think anyone expected Altreon to return.

Altreon is one of the most challenging monsters in Monster Hunter and it’ll be quite a fight to take this ferocious dragon down. Not only does this creature have a lot of stamina, but it has incredibly powerful attacks that you have to dodge at all costs. While tweaks are expected to take place for Monster Hunter World: Iceborne, we expect how to fight it to remain roughly the same.
